I have a friend that gets mad at his friend for copying him for being trans, the copying things bad btw, but my friend literally told his friend that he couldn’t change his name to a certain name bc it didn’t “fit that persons vibe” and my friend came up with that idea and was his second idea for his name. I told him that that wasn’t okay and now we’re fighting. Could someone pls give some advice on how I can break it to him that I don’t want to be friends?

I respect your desire to compile a place of queer safety, but if that safety isn’t intersectional, it isn’t worth anything to a large and important part of this community. Algorithms don’t favor people of color, and if that means you have to put in more work to seek out those voices, then I ask that you please do better to amplify them, even if it is just in your videos.
